Hypercoordinate Inc. ("Hypercoordinate," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our data and AI platform service (the "Service").

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • User Content: Data files, documents, and other content you upload to the Service

  • Usage Information: Queries you make, timestamps of uploads and activities, features you use
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system
  • Log Data: Server logs, error reports through our error tracking service (Sentry)

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information (PII) about individuals within your uploaded data. The Service is designed for corporate R&D data, not personal data processing.

2.4 Note on Confidential R&D Data

While we implement strong security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, users remain responsible for complying with their own corporate data handling policies when uploading confidential R&D data to the Service.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the Service: Process your queries, generate visualizations, and deliver functionality
  • Maintain and Improve: Monitor performance, fix bugs, and enhance features
  • Communicate: Send service-related emails, respond to inquiries, and provide support
  • Security and Compliance: Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations
  • Analytics: Understand usage patterns to improve the Service (in aggregate, non-identified form)

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share your information only in these circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

  • Google Cloud Platform: For hosting, data storage, and computing services (servers in Iowa, USA). All data stored on GCP is automatically encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Sentry: For error tracking and monitoring (servers in Iowa, USA)

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas).

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share information with third parties when you explicitly consent to such sharing.

5. DATA SECURITY

5.1 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • AES-256 encryption of all data at rest through Google Cloud Platform
  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS
  • Session-based access controls
  • Database row-level security
  • Regular security assessments

5.2 Limitations

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

6.1 Active Accounts

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the Service.

6.2 Account Deletion

  • You may request deletion of your account at any time
  • Upon account deletion, we retain your data for ninety (90) days to allow for account recovery or to comply with legal obligations
  • After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems

6.3 Data Export

You have the right to export your data at any time through the Service interface or by contacting us.

7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your information:

  • Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your information, subject to legal requirements

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

11.2 "Do Not Track" Signals

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals as there is no industry standard for compliance.

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law, typically within 72 hours of discovery.

13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Sending an email notification for significant changes
